Knowledge and Awareness Regarding Denture Staining Amount Complete Denture Wearers: A Descriptive Questionnaire Survey

Introduction: Improper denture hygiene leads to staining as well various lesions of the oral mucosa associated with wearing removable dentures. The aim study is evaluate knowledge and awareness regarding amount complete wearers visiting Dental Department, Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital. Methods: A descriptive cross‑sectional was conducted among Department survey through a printed standard questionnaire 15 questions delivered patients. Data were collected coded, statistical analysis done using SPSS software package. Descriptive statistics used for data analysis. Results: showed that about 38 % patients 6 months 1 year. About 97% consume coffee or tea regularly. 65% consumed aerated beverages. 52% reported alcohol consumption habits. Tobacco chewing habit by 7% 17% cigarette smoking habit. Almost 92.9%% cleaned their dentures some other method. 64% claimed be aware cleaning techniques. 20.2% complained halitosis, 11% ulcers, approximately 68.8% suffered from infections. Conclusion: not adequate participants. Patients have consuming tea, coffee, drinks which could lead acrylic Therefore, care dental prosthesis including life-long exercise.
